This beauitful Georgian country retreat boasts a secluded location surrounded by parkland and gorgeous gardens, just a short drive away from Bath’s city center. While it’s a bit further out, the hotel is amazing and it’s well worth the short drive or bus trip into the city.
The Homewood Hotel & Spa offers free parking, so you don’t have to worry about finding a spot for your car.
One of the best things about the Homewood Hotel & Spa is its spa and heated outdoor swimming pool. It is amazing! I really recommend bringing your bathing suit and making the most of the pool.
The spa offers a range of treatments, including massages, facials, and body scrubs. You’ll need to book them in advance but just go to reception and ask to book one of the spa treatments.
If you’re feeling peckish, Homewood Hotel & Spa has a restaurant that uses locally sourced ingredients. They also have an outdoor eating area in the garden, where you can sit in pods while enjoying views of the garden.
The hotel rooms are beauitfully decorated, with super comfy beds. Most rooms have seating and a desk area so you can work using the free WiFi if needed.

The Bath Priory
If you’re looking for a luxury country house hotel with free parking, The Bath Priory should be on your list of places to consider staying. The hotel is located just 2 miles from Bath Abbey, making it a convenient base for exploring the city.
One of the best things about this hotel is its beautiful 4-acre garden, which is perfect for a relaxing stroll. if you’re visiting with kids, they do a picnic hamper so you can let your kids enjoy the outdoors whilst enjoying a family picnic.
You’ll also find a swimming pool and pool-side sauna, as well as L’Occitane beauty treatments, so you can really unwind during your stay.
When it comes to dining, The Bath Priory has two restaurants to choose from including a 3 AA Rosette restaurant! The other restaurant; the Pantry offers a more casual atmosphere and you can enjoy lunch or afternoon tea here. Afternoon tea is also served in the restaurants, and on the terrace.
