Currys is a well-known electronics retailer in the UK. They have a branch located in the SouthGate Bath shopping center.
Currys only stocks a limited selection of camera gear, and it’s normally more beginner level rather than intermediate or professional gear. Such as entry level Canon and Sony cameas. They’ll normally have a few drones from DJI in-store as well such as the DJI Mini 2 SE and DJI Mini 4 Pro.
Currys doesn’t stock many camera accessories, so you won’t want to head here if you’re after a new battery or bag. They do normally have some SD cards and Micro SD cards in store but these will be expensive. If you’re looking for a professional memory card, such as a CF Express card you’ll need to head to somewhere else like London Camera Exchange or WEX in Bristol.
Although it isn’t all bad. Currys does have one major plus side; you can order on their website and choose to have the camera gear delivered to their store for you to collect. They tend to offer a beginner to semi-pro range online. So you won’t find a Nikon Z9 or the Sony A9. But you will find cheaper semi-pro/intermediate bodies such as the Nikon Z6 II and the Sony A7.
