The Best cafe’s in Bath – A local’s Guide

If you’re looking for somewhere to enjoy a coffee or grab a bite to eat, Bath has a great selection of cafés to choose from. Most of the cafes are cnetrally located, near some of the best things to do in Bath so you can easily stop off for coffee or lunch after wandering around the city.

Bath has a plethora of cafes that offer great tasting coffee, delicious cakes, sandwichses, salads + more. Whether you’re looking for a bite to eat or just want a hot drink, these cafes have you covered.

Here’s a list of the top cafes in Bath, in no particular order.

Located on Queen Street, Wild Cafe is a great spot for a quick lunch. The menu features locally sourced ingredients and a variety of sandwiches, salads, and soups. The cafe is also fully licensed, so you can enjoy a glass of wine or a beer with your meal.

8. Mokoko COffee

For a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, head to Mokoko Coffee. This charming café specializes in artisan coffee, with beans roasted on-site. They also offer a range of pastries, sandwiches, and cakes, all made fresh daily. Mokoko also has cafés in Bristol, so if you’re doing a day trip to Bristol you could also visit their coffee shop there.

9. Boston Tea Party

Another great option is Boston Tea Party, with two locations in the city centre. Grab a table outside and take in the hustle and bustle of Kingsmead Square, or relax in their light and airy Alfred Street café, close to the elegant Assembly Rooms. They offer a great selection of coffee, tea, and food including English Breakfast. They also have plenty of vegetarian and vegan options.

Boston Tea Party also has cafesin Bristol, and their cafe on Park Street is one of my faveorite cafes in Bristol. I normally stop here for a coffee after wandering around the shops.
